Surah Name: Al-Haqqah Meaning: The Truth

bismillah

فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ

Fala oqsimu bima tubsiroon(a)

I-SWT swear by what you see.

(69:38)

وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ

Wama la tubsiroon(a)

And by what you do not see.

(69:39)

إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ

Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareem(in)

That it is the speech brought by an honourable envoy.

(69:40)

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ قَلِيلًا مَا تُؤْمِنُونَ

Wama huwa biqawli shaAAirin qaleelan ma tuminoon(a)

And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that you believe.

(69:41)

وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Wala biqawli kahinin qaleelan ma tathakkaroon(a)

Nor it is the speech of a soothsayer. Little are you admonished!

(69:42)

تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Tanzeelun min rabbi alAAalameen(a)

It is a Revelation from the Rabb-SWT of the worlds.

(69:43)

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ

Walaw taqawwala AAalayna baAAda alaqaweel(i)

And if he had forged concerning Us-SWT some discourses.

(69:44)

لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ

Laakhathna minhu bi(a)lyameen(i)

We-SWT surely would have seized him by the right hand.

(69:45)

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ

Thumma laqataAAna minhu alwateen(a)

And then severed his life vein.

(69:46)

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ

Fama minkum min ahadin AAanhu hajizeen(a)

And not one of you would have withheld Us-SWT from punishing him.

(69:47)

وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

Wainnahu latathkiratun lilmuttaqeen(a)

And surely it is an Admonition to those who fear Allaah-SWT .

(69:48)

وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ

Wainna lanaAAlamu anna minkum mukaththibeen(a)

And verily We-SWT know that some among you belie.

(69:49)

وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ

Wainnahu lahasratun AAala alkafireen(a)

And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish to the infidels.

(69:50)

وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ

Wainnahu lahaqqu alyaqeen(i)

And verily it is the truth of absolute certainty.

(69:51)

فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ

Fasabbih bi(i)smi rabbika alAAatheem(i)

So hallow you the Name of your Rabb-SWT , the Great.

(69:52)
In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Allah-SWT swears by things visible and invisible that everything and every power in the universe testifies the Quran as Allah-SWT's Word carried to His-SWT Prophet-SW by an honourable angel. In other words, Quran provided a perfect system of life covering both visible and the invisible consequences ensuring the best results of beliefs, and practices for all regions, climates and nations of the world. Some of these results are visible while others are invisible for the time being and will show in the Akhirah. None save Allaah-SWT could give such an excellent and comprehensive system through His-SWT Word, conveyed to His-SWT Prophet-SW by His-SWT angel. It is neither poetry, which is seldom practicable, nor the speech of a sorcerer, who fabricates with Satan’s help and a fabrication can never yield such incredible results. Yet the infidels fail to believe in this Book and are deprived of its admonitions.

 

Divine Protection

He-SWT has blessed a system, which guarantees protection to everyone’s rights. The Holy Prophet-SW is also under His-SWT Protection. This system openly challenges all the systems and governments of the world and aims at establishing Allah-SWT's Rule negating everything else. Logically, the supporters of such a system should have been done to death or imprisoned. Had He-SWT not been protecting the believers they would have been lynched by the enraged infidels? But this did not happen because the Holy Prophet-SW is true and the Quran is Allah-SWT's Book that guides all those who turn to Him-SWT .

 

And the deniers are not hidden from Him-SWT . Though they do not accept it now, but finally one day this Quran will become a cause of remorse for them. "If only we would have believed!" they would wistfully wail. This is something absolutely certain. In acknowledgement of His-SWT favour, Allaah-SWT wants the believers to keep glorifying Him-SWT . When this particular Ayah was revealed, the Holy Prophet-SW prescribed it to be recited in Ruku during Salat.
